Inspired by J.M.W. Turner’s use of light and Robert Frost’s marriage of the real and the romantic, Ian has spent the past few years capturing the intersection of light and love. His journey began with a borrowed camera and intense curiosity—the rest is history. From intimate and intentional Midwest weddings to the UK, Ian has documented weddings with an eye toward the small moments that build the foundation for future stories.

Ian is a husband to Lex and a dad to two girls who light up their world. He loves light roast coffee, the insanity of October baseball, walks with his girls, and meaningful conversations.
